Storytelling mit Jim Wingate 2018

Seit 1999 bereits gibt es jedes Jahr eine Englischstunde der ganz besonderen Art, wenn nämlich der  bekannte britische Storyteller und Schauspieler Jim Wingate unsere Kleinen gekonnt spielerisch, mit überzeugender Gestik sowie ausgeprägter Mimik scheinbar mühelos in eine englischsprachige Welt voller phantasievoller Geschichten entführt. Sie selbst dürfen dann als  Akteure auf seiner winzigen Bühne auftreten - kein Wunder, dass das immer für viel Spaß bei unserem jungen Publikum sorgt.
Dies schreiben Lucia Krom und Raphaela Wulf (5m) unter Anleitung ihrer Englischlehrerin über seinen diesjährigen Besuch:

Jim Wingate - a funny and wonderful storyteller

“On Tuesday, February 6th, we had the great opportunity to see Jim Wingate, a Welsh story-teller, who was born in Scotland.
First of all, Jim shook hands with every single student and introduced himself. Then he told us three stories. But he didn't just “tell” his stories. Jim took the students to the front and everybody was invited to participate. The first story was about a grandmother (performed by Raphaela), her grandson (Felix) and the “wind eagle” (Mr Grygier), the second one about a king (Corbin) and his butler (Sophia) and the third one about an unlucky hairdresser (Rosalie). At the end there was time to ask Jim questions, such as “How old are you? Where are you from? What's your favourite food? etc.
We think Jim Wingate is really nice, cool, funny and a wonderful storyteller. We had a lot of fun, learned a lot of  new English words and hope he will come to Marktoberdorf again one day. Thank you, Jim!“
